the drawing series combines four references and four hand-drawn sketches of projects executed by ortus over the years. ortus is a very young studio, and each of the four drawings is created with simple lines aiming to capture the essence of the ideas that shaped them. the sketches are minimalistic, composed solely of uncomplicated lines, and deliberately exclude human figures. the chosen references are drawings by architects we have collaborated with or whose work we admire, and each reference fills the representation with objects depicting the life within buildings. our series symbolizes the aspiration of a young studio embarking on creating spaces for people's lives, drawing inspiration from architects who have always prioritized this principle in their work
